Solid Copper Kettles

These are hand-made in England by methods that have remained unchanged for several hundred years. Careful attention is paid to every detail and the product is made to last for very many years. It is not uncommon for such kettles to have lifespans of well over 20 years.

The exterior is lacquered to provide a tarnish-free product when you buy it. It should be removed before using with nail-polish remover or acetone. Abrasive cleaners should never be used on these kettles. In regular use all that is required is an occasional light rub of a non-abrasive metal polish such as Twinkle Copper cleaner.

The kettle is 7.5" diameter, 8.5" high and 10" long. To alert you when the water begins to boil, it has been trained to start whistling. :-)

It is shown in the picture and has a flat bottom, so it may be used on either gas or electric stoves.
