Dec. 3 (Friday) – Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
The Vista Village Business Association invites you to the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

Along Main Street from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday December 3rd. Main Street trees from South Santa Fe Avenue to Vista Village Drive will be filled with lights at the direction of Mayor Morris Vance. A decorated Christmas tree will be lit up at the Main Street Gazebo as a centerpiece for the downtown decorations. Santa and Mrs. Claus will pose for free photographs with the children and there will be activities for the kids that tie into this year’s ceremony’s theme: The Music and Magic of Christmas. We will have carolers and the Encore Youth performers as well as music performances in front of First Cut Demos located at 217 E. Broadway. Area merchants will be offering special promotions through out the evening, and don’t forget to shop and play the “Vista Village Business Bingo” and “Receipt Raffle” for the chance to win CASH and prizes! Dec. 4 (Saturday) – Annual Christmas Parade

The theme this year is Vista Reborn, Act II and begins at 1:00 p.m. in downtown Vista. Hosts Vista Chamber and the City of Vista invite the public to attend this annual holiday event. The parade will include floats, vehicles, horses, bands, Santa Claus and an antique airplane fly over! New this year there will be carnival rides available for the kids! Dec. 4 (Saturday) – “Krikorian’s Winter Wonderland”

Enjoy playing in 5 tons of snow from 1 – 5 pm. Have your picture taken with Santa beginning at 3 pm. For more information on the days events please call 760-945-7469.

Dec. 5 (Sunday) – 24th Annual Holiday Homes Tour is from 10 am – 4 pm.

Four homes will be decorated for the holidays by professional designers that have volunteered their time. This unique event is an important fundraiser for Kare for Kids coordinated by the Vista Community Clinic. The tour will also include two collections of antique and restored vehicles as well as Vista ‘s historic Rancho Buena Vista Adobe, festively decorated by volunteers and community organizations. For more information please visit the website at www.vistacommunityclinic.org. ALSO – Unique artisans and vendors will be available at the Holiday Bazaar to be held at the Laughter Home. You will find jewelry, purses, home art decor, and much more. A portion of their proceeds will go to the Kare for Kids Fund so bring your pocket book for some early holiday shopping!

Dec. 12 (Sunday) – Gallery 204

Is hosting a High Tea and Fashion Show featuring California Originals by Kathryn. This reception is from 2 to 4 p.m. and the cost is $20.00. They are located at 204 Main Street. For tickets or information contact call 760-310-8732
