Boats of all sizes, decorated in holiday lights and ornaments circle Oceanside Harborwhile onlookers watch from beach, Oceanside Harbor, restaurants and boats. It’s also a great time to party, have a beach fire and celebrate. To avoid the hassle of getting a parking spot, come early.
No public transportation goes to harbor.
North Harbor is commercial vessels.
Harbor Village and most restaurants located here. Harbor Village is where the lighthouse is.
South Harbor is for private vessels. Jolly Rogers restaurant located here.
Where to View Event
For best viewing, stand along the side of Oceanside Harbor near the Harbor Police and fishing dock (see map). From this vantage point, you can see the parade twice.
The concrete walkway that surrounds much of the harbor is good for spectating the event. Harbor Village at North Harbor has shops, dining, and seating areas.
North end of Harbor Beach next to the jetty overlooks the harbor inlet.
